Accentuate Staffing is recruiting for an Accounting Associate to join a local team in the Raleigh Area.   The ideal candidate is a career-driven, detail-oriented, self-motivated accounting professional.

Permanent Full time position Monday thru Friday, with a 90 day Probationary period. Company benefits after Probationary period is complete.

Responsibilities:

• Establish customer accounts and ensuring all needed documentation is received and filed;
• Review and assist with assessing customer credit terms and periodic monitoring and updates to terms;
• Review customer orders for completeness and accuracy to items, order minimums, orders, pricing, credit and freight terms;
• Review completed customer orders for invoicing
• Review customer term accounts for payment application, dunning and term adjustments;
• Review and post customer credits, returns and invoice adjustments
• Assist with customer billing and credit inquiries;
• Assist with product price modeling and pricing
• Review customer sample reports and vendor bill backs;
• Assist with sales and use tax reporting;
• Prepare basic General Ledger entries
• Perform period end reconciliations and duties
• Prepare standard reports and distribute as required.
• Assist with Incentive compensation accounting for the sales team

Requirements:

•Experience in accounting functions for wholesale distribution preferred.
•4+ years of experience in accounting
• Excellent Oral and Written Communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Exhibit strong professionalism in performance of job duties
• Microsoft Office advanced expertise
• Solid Accounting knowledge and background
• Understanding of revenue and expense accounting cycles and general ledger
• Working knowledge and experience with ERP systems & Sage software accounting
