Accentuate Staffing is searching for an experienced accounting professional to join our client in Cary in the role of Accounting Manager.  This position is responsible for applying proper principles of accounting to analyze financial information and prepare financial reports for the company.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience preparing financial statements and related footnote disclosures in accordance with US GAAP.
• The ability to compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as investment purchases, investment valuation adjustments, interest receivables, prepaid expenses, inter-company transactions, accounts payable, accrued expenses, capital calls, capital distributions and other related entries.
• Experience compiling financial information detailing assets, liabilities, and partners’ capital, and prepares balance sheet, profit and loss statement, statement of cash flows and other reports to summarize and interpret current and projected company financial position for other managers and directors.
• Performs client management as it relates to the timing for deliverable deadlines and ensures supporting share service team members and fund staff accountants meet necessary deadlines to provide quality client service and deliverables, as well as coordinate the appropriate director review prior to issuing deliverables to clients.
• Manage assigned staff as appropriate.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 5+ years experience
• Public Accounting experience required
• CPA required
• Experience identifying and addressing client needs: building, maintaining, and utilizing networks of client relationships; managing resource requirements, project workflow, budgets and preparing and/or coordinating complex written and verbal materials.
