Accentuate Staffing is currently recruiting for an experienced HR Generalist to join a family-owned manufacturing client in Clayton, NC. This is a full-time, direct-hire opportunity. The HR Generalist will provide hands-on support across the employee lifecycle for a multi-company organization with office and manufacturing operations. This role will have a primary focus on full-cycle recruiting, benefits and leave administration, while also supporting employee relations, HR operations, compliance, payroll, and HR systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, offers, pre-employment screening, onboarding, and recruiting metrics.
  • Partner with hiring managers, staffing agencies, and community resources to build talent pipelines and support workforce needs.
  • Provide day-to-day HR support to employees and managers on policies, performance, attendance, employee relations, and workplace concerns.
  • Administer employee benefits, open enrollment, FMLA, ADA accommodations, leave programs, and vendor relationships.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data, support payroll and timekeeping, and coordinate employee status changes and separations.
  • Support HR compliance, including I-9 and E-Verify, record retention, workers’ compensation, unemployment, and continuous improvement of HR processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
  • 4–6 years of progressive HR experience, preferably within a manufacturing, warehouse, or other employee-intensive environment.
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience with full-cycle recruiting, benefits administration, and leave management.
  • Experience supporting onboarding, employee relations, HRIS administration, payroll, and offboarding.
  • Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices.
  • HR certification such as SHRM-CP or PHR preferred.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
