Production Scheduler

Accentuate Staffing is seeking a Production Scheduler for a manufacturing client in Fuquay-Varina, NC. This direct-hire position is responsible for coordinating production schedules to support efficient workflow, on-time order completion, and optimal use of equipment and labor. The role works closely with Customer Service, Production, Purchasing, Warehouse, and Maintenance.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and long-range production schedules based on customer demand, capacity, labor, and material availability.
Sequence and prioritize production orders to maximize equipment efficiency, minimize changeovers, and meet customer delivery commitments.
Monitor production progress and adjust schedules to address downtime, staffing changes, rush orders, and other production issues.
Maintain accurate scheduling information within the ERP/MRP system and identify potential bottlenecks or delays.
Coordinate with Customer Service, Purchasing, Warehouse, Production, and Maintenance to ensure materials, equipment, and resources are available.
Analyze production workflows and recommend improvements to increase throughput, reduce lead times, and improve service levels.

Requirements:

Associate degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field.
2-4 years of experience in production scheduling, materials planning, or supply chain within a manufacturing environment.
Experience with ERP/MRP systems, demand forecasting, inventory control, and lead-time management.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
