
Inventory Control/Supply Chain Associate (Pharmaceutical)
Accentuate Staffing is assisting a pharmaceutical manufacturer who is seeking an Inventory Control Associate to support inventory accuracy and warehouse operations at their Durham facility. This is a 6-month contract opportunity with the potential to open doors for future opportunities within a growing organization for a strong performer.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, reconciliations, and inventory audits.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies and perform root cause analysis.
- Process inventory transactions in SAP, including receipts, transfers, adjustments, and stock movements.
- Reconcile physical inventory with system records and ensure data accuracy.
- Support annual physical inventories and warehouse organization initiatives.
- Monitor obsolete, excess, and expired inventory while maintaining proper material identification and storage.
- Partner with Warehouse, Planning, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Quality teams to improve inventory processes and material visibility.
- Assist with inventory reporting, process improvements, and documentation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, materials management, or supply chain.
- cGMP experience is required.
- Experience using SAP in an inventory or warehouse environment.
- Strong Microsoft Excel and overall Microsoft Office skills.
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly and work in a warehouse environment.
