Accentuate Staffing has partnered with a growing manufacturing organization in the Triangle area that is seeking a Materials Coordinator to support daily inventory, receiving, and shipping operations. This role plays a critical part in maintaining the flow of materials throughout the production process, ensuring technical and production teams have the resources needed to meet operational goals. Responsibilities:

  • Receive, inspect, and process incoming materials while maintaining accurate inventory records within the company’s inventory management system.
  • Build and distribute material kits to support production schedules and daily operational requirements.
  • Perform cycle counts, inventory audits, and stock reconciliations while proactively identifying and reporting material shortages.
  • Coordinate shipping activities, prepare outbound orders, and ensure timely delivery through approved carriers.
  • Organize inventory locations, manage shipping and packaging supplies, and help maintain efficient material flow throughout the facility.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment while following established inventory and material handling procedures.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required; additional education or training in supply chain, logistics, operations, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience in inventory control, materials management, shipping and receiving, warehouse operations, or a manufacturing support role.
  • Proficiency with ERP or inventory management systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms; Kanban experience is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to accurately manage inventory transactions and material movement.
  • Ability to work a consistent first-shift schedule and effectively manage competing priorities in a team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to safely lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds and perform the physical requirements of the position
