Accentuate Staffing is seeking a Workers’ Compensation Case Manager to join a law firm in Raleigh. This position manages the full lifecycle of North Carolina workers’ compensation cases, serving as the primary liaison between clients, attorneys, medical providers, and outside parties while ensuring cases progress efficiently from intake through resolution.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a high-volume caseload from intake through resolution, maintaining organized case files, correspondence, and legal documentation.
  • Track court dates, discovery deadlines, mediations, hearings, attorney meetings, and other critical case milestones.
  • Prepare, draft, review, and electronically file legal documents, including correspondence, discovery responses, motions, affidavits, and NC Industrial Commission filings.
  • Coordinate the collection, review, and organization of medical records, bills, and supporting documentation for mediations and hearings.
  • Communicate regularly with clients regarding case status, medical treatment, benefits, and discovery while providing exceptional client service.
  • Coordinate mediations, client meetings, and service of legal documents while ensuring compliance with deadlines and Commission requirements.
  • Review case files for accuracy and completeness, track unpaid medical expenses, and perform general administrative support including scanning, filing, and document management.

Requirements:

  • Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • NC Paralegal Certificate preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of recent North Carolina workers’ compensation case management experience in a personal injury or workers’ compensation law firm.
  • Experience using legal case management software.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills with the ability to manage a high-volume caseload.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong client-service mindset.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with attorneys and staff.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is highly preferred.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and legal case management systems.
