Electronics Assembly Technician
Accentuate Staffing is assisting a client of ours who is recruiting for an Electronics Assembly Technician to join their team. This is a 2 month contract opportunity working 1st shift. This position will support the assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of electronic products in a fast-paced manufacturing and engineering environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble electronic and electro-mechanical components using work instructions and drawings
- Perform soldering, wiring, and cable assembly tasks
- Troubleshoot and test assemblies using standard electronic test equipment
- Read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and assembly documentation
- Assist with prototype builds and production activities
Requirements:
- 2+ years of electronics or electro-mechanical assembly experience
- Experience with soldering surface-mount and through-hole components a plus
- Ability to build and route wiring assemblies and cable harnesses
- Ability to read basic electrical schematics and assembly drawings
- Familiarity with troubleshooting electronic assemblies and using test equipment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
