Accentuate Staffing has an immediate opportunity for a fully remote Contract HRIS Implementation & Data Specialist that will provide temporary support to the Human Resources department during HRIS implementation, integration, testing, cutover planning, and data cleanup activities. This role will help manage the coordination-heavy and detail-driven components of implementation so HR leaders and staff can remain focused on HR operations, decision-making, and subject matter expertise. The candidate MUST live in North Carolina. This position is 6 months with a possibility of being extended.

Responsibilities:

  • Track HRIS implementation timeline, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate vendor follow-up and implementation-related communications.
  • Support HRIS integration planning and tracking.
  • Assist with data cleanup and data readiness workstreams.
  • Track data issues, gaps, inconsistencies, and required corrections.
  • Support testing schedule coordination.
  • Assist with user acceptance testing planning and follow-up.
  • Maintain issue logs, risk logs, and decision trackers.
  • Support cutover planning and go-live readiness tracking.
  • Document meeting follow-ups, action items, open decisions, and next steps.
  • Coordinate dependencies between HR, IT, Finance, Payroll, vendors, and other stakeholders.
  • Help organize implementation documentation and project materials.
  • Escalate risks, delays, unresolved issues, or vendor dependencies to HR leadership.
  • Assist in validating data cleanup progress and readiness for migration or integration activities.
  • Support post-go-live issue tracking and stabilization activities, as needed.

Requirements:

  • Experience supporting HRIS implementations, system integrations, or HR technology projects.
  • Strong project coordination and organizational skills.
  • Experience tracking timelines, deliverables, risks, issues, and decisions.
  • Ability to support data cleanup, data validation, and data readiness activities.
  • Strong attention to detail and comfort working with spreadsheets, trackers, and project documentation.
  • Ability to coordinate across internal teams and external vendors.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience with HRIS implementation or migration projects.
  • Experience working with HR, Payroll, Finance, IT, and vendor implementation teams.
  • Familiarity with HR data structures, employee records, job data, compensation data, benefits data, or payroll-related data.
  • Experience supporting system testing, user acceptance testing, or cutover planning.
  • Experience maintaining project plans, issue logs, risk logs, and readiness trackers.
  • Familiarity with data cleanup and data conversion activities.
