Accentuate Staffing is assisting a well-established manufacturing company who is hiring a Maintenance Technician to join their team at their food processing plant. This is an excellent direct hire opportunity in a hands-on, industrial environment supporting 24/7 production equipment. This role is working 2nd shift, Monday through Friday, 2:00pm–11:00pm, with occasional weekend overtime as needed during peak season.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot, repair, install, and maintain a variety of industrial manufacturing equipment
- Perform electrical and mechanical diagnostics, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis
- Repair and maintain conveyors, fillers, cappers, labelers, palletizers, pumps, motors, drives, and other production equipment
- Replace bearings, chains, motors, valves, instrumentation, electrical components, and related parts
- Utilize CMMS software to receive work orders, document repairs, and track maintenance activities
- Perform TIG and Stick welding, cutting, grinding, and basic fabrication work
- Install and repair piping, tubing, tank fittings, guarding, and other plant infrastructure
- Assist with preventative maintenance programs and continuous improvement projects
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Technical Associate Degree, maintenance training, or equivalent work experience preferred
- 3+ years of maintenance experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of industrial electrical and mechanical systems
- Experience with pneumatics, instrumentation, schematics, P&IDs, automated equipment, and production machinery
- Welding and fabrication experience preferred
