Sr. Production Supervisor (Pharmaceutical Packaging)
Accentuate Staffing is assisting a growing pharmaceutical company in the Raleigh area who is hiring a Packaging Supervisor to oversee packaging operations within a regulated pharmaceutical production environment. Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day packaging operations, ensuring production targets, quality standards, and deadlines are consistently met
- Ensure full compliance with cGMP standards and regulatory requirements, maintaining readiness for audits and inspections
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and strengthen compliance
- Lead troubleshooting efforts, perform root cause analysis, and implement effective CAPA solutions
- Author and manage deviations related to packaging activities
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering and other departments to support validation and process improvements
- Prepare, review, and maintain accurate production and quality documentation
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in a packaging pharmaceutical production environment
- Strong knowledge of regulatory standards and quality systems within the pharmaceutical industry
- Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma (Green Belt preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, or a related field is a plus
- Proficiency with ERP systems; experience with SAP is highly preferred
