Accentuate Staffing is assisting a growing manufacturing company in the Fuquay Varina area who is hiring a Facilities Technician to join their team. This is contract-hire opportunity working 1st shift Monday-Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Replace interior and exterior light bulbs and fixtures
- Repair and replace faucets and basic plumbing components
- Scrub and maintain floors and common areas
- Perform general building and facilities maintenance tasks
- Complete routine inspections of the facility and report issues
- Handle minor repairs and upkeep projects as assigned
- Support overall plant cleanliness and safety standards
- Assist with preventative maintenance tasks
Requirements:
- Prior facilities, building, or general maintenance experience preferred
- Comfortable performing hands-on repair and upkeep tasks
- Basic knowledge of plumbing and general mechanical repairs
- Ability to use basic hand and power tools
- Able to work independently and manage task lists
- Good attention to detail and safety awareness
- Ability to lift, bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods
