Construction Accountant
Accentuate Staffing has an immediate direct hire onsite opportunity for a Construction Accountant with an established Construction company in Holly Springs, NC 27539. The Construction Accountant is responsible for managing financial records and accounting activities related to construction projects. This role ensures accurate job costing, billing, and financial reporting while supporting project managers and leadership.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain job cost records and track project expenses
- Prepare and process progress billings and change orders
- Reconcile project costs with budgets and contracts
- Process accounts payable and receivable related to projects
- Assist with monthly close and financial reports
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
- Support audits and provide project financial documentation
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- 3+ years of accounting experience
- Construction industry experience required
- Knowledge of job costing and construction accounting principles
- Proficiency in accounting software and Excel
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
