Accentuate Staffing is assisting a growing civil engineering company in the RTP area who is hiring an Assembly Technician to join their team. This is a contract to hire opportunity working on 1st shift 8am-5pm.
Responsibilities:
- Build, assemble, and set up mechanical and electronic components according to established production instructions.
- Perform basic calibration, troubleshooting, and adjustments on equipment to ensure proper function.
- Review work orders, parts lists, and diagrams to complete assemblies accurately and on schedule.
- Inspect components and finished assemblies to verify they meet quality and performance standards.
- Work closely with Service, Engineering, and Sales teams to support smooth production flow and resolve technical questions.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Prior experience in a production, assembly, or mechanical repair environment.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings, schematics, and written instructions.
- Comfortable using basic hand tools, power tools, and measurement devices such as calipers or gauges.
- Basic understanding of quality checks, inspection practices, and documentation.
- Capable of lifting up to 75 lbs occasionally and performing tasks that involve standing, bending, and walking.
