
Printing Operators Needed (Gluer/Sheeter/Die Cutter)
Accentuate Staffing is working with a leading packaging solutions provider that is seeking Printing Operators (Gluer/Sheeter/Die Cutter) to join their production team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring high-quality output for customer orders by operating specialized finishing equipment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with converting, cutting, and finishing processes in a manufacturing setting. This position requires strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work collaboratively with team members to meet production schedules. You will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining equipment while ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities:
• Operate and maintain finishing equipment, including sheeters, die cutters, and folder/gluers, to meet production requirements.
• Review job specifications and ensure proper setup, approvals, and quality checks throughout the process.
• Monitor in-process work for accuracy and quality; troubleshoot and resolve equipment or material issues as needed.
• Communicate job status, production data, and improvement ideas to management and team members.
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on equipment and maintain a clean, safe work area.
Requirements:
• Previous experience operating finishing equipment in a packaging or printing environment; knowledge of sheeting, die cutting, or gluing processes required.
• Ability to read and interpret job specifications and use measurement tools such as rulers, calipers, and micrometers.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills to address equipment and material issues.
• Basic math, reading comprehension, and writing skills required; fluency in English.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 35 lbs., standing for extended periods, and maneuvering around equipment safely.
