Responsibilities:

• Lead, train, and support a team of 4 associates on the 2nd shift.
• Oversee all shipping and receiving operations to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with safety standards.
• Operate warehouse equipment, including cherry picker, reach, and sit-down forklifts.
• Handle and prepare HAZMAT shipments (welding gas, propane, compression gas).
• Utilize shipping software such as P21, Freight Edge, and Quick Ship to manage orders and shipments.
• Coordinate with carriers, internal departments, and team members to resolve issues and maintain workflow efficiency.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and ensure all materials are properly labeled and stored.
• Promote and uphold a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.

Requirements:

• Previous shipping, receiving, and leadership experience required
• Proficiency with FedEx shipping systems and common freight/shipping software.
• Forklift experience (cherry picker, reach, sit-down) required; certification preferred.
• Experience handling or shipping HAZMAT materials is a plus.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
