
Contracts Administrator
Accentuate Staffing is seeking a temporary Contract Administrator for a client in Apex NC. The Contract Administrator is responsible for managing the end-to-end contract review process, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution. This role will serve as a key liaison between customers, project teams, and internal stakeholders, while also supporting the Director of Compliance with contract-related operations and special projects. This is a temporary assignment.
Responsibilities:
- Create and initiate new project entries in Acumatica to support contract and operational workflows.
- Launch and manage the contract review process for new projects within 24 hours of receipt.
- Review contracts for critical details including billing procedures, liquidated damages, and schedules of values.
- Draft, mark up, and edit contracts with precision while maintaining compliance with internal standards.
- Identify and escalate potential risks to the Director of Compliance and relevant stakeholders.
- Communicate professionally with clients regarding contract status, inquiries, and follow-ups.
- Route contracts for approval based on contract value, type, and organizational protocols.
- Provide weekly updates to stakeholders on contract status to ensure accountability and transparency.
- Proactively follow up with internal and external parties to expedite reviews and approvals.
- Maintain knowledge of state-specific legal requirements related to lien rights, notices to proceed, and notices of commencement to ensure compliance.
- Facilitate vendor setup and onboarding with new clients, including billing requirements.
- Create and maintain accurate customer records and project data in Acumatica.
Assist the Director of Compliance with special projects and ad hoc requests
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Contract Administrator or similar role, ideally within construction, compliance, or project management.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation) with a client-focused approach.
- Demonstrated ability to assess and mitigate risks, with experience in compliance and quality assurance.
- Proficiency with project management and construction software such as Acumatica, Procore, and QuickBooks.
- High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree in Business, Legal Studies, or related field preferred.
