Accentuate staffing is assisting a manufacturing company who is hiring an Industrial Automation Technician to join their team. This is a great direct hire opportunity offering excellent benefits working 7am-4pm Monday-Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and repair production machinery, automation systems, and facility equipment.
- Perform preventative and predictive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives for safety, quality, and efficiency.
- Support PLC programming and diagnostics
- Participate in on-call rotation, providing support for after-hours maintenance needs.
- Maintain documentation of equipment modifications, repairs, and maintenance activities.
Requirements:
- 2-year degree in Electrical/Electronic Technology (or equivalent training/experience).
- 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience, including troubleshooting electrical and automation systems.
- Knowledge of PLC systems; Siemens TIA Portal experience is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced production setting.
- Must be able to participate in on-call rotation (one week every four weeks).
