Accentuate Staffing is assisting an establish machine shop in Raleigh who is hiring a Welding Lead/Supervisor to join their team. This is a hands on leadership role working 7am-3:45pm Monday-Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Perform MIG and TIG welding on a variety of materials to meet production specifications.
- Lead, train, and support a team of welders to ensure quality, efficiency, and safety standards are met.
- Assign work tasks, monitor progress, and maintain production schedules.
- Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate fabrication.
- Operate forklifts and other shop equipment as needed.
- Utilize computer systems for work orders, production tracking, and communication.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of welding experience, with strong MIG and TIG skills.
- Prior leadership or team lead experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment a plus.
- Proficient in reading blueprints and interpreting technical drawings.
- Forklift operation experience required.
- Basic computer skills for production tracking and documentation.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
