Accentuate Staffing is assisting a leading production boat manufacturer in Eastern NC who is hiring a Production Supervisor to lead their Lamination Department. This is a fantastic, direct hire opportunity, for a hands-on leader with a strong background in fiberglass or marine manufacturing working Monday-Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise day-to-day lamination operations and production personnel
- Develop and track KPIs to ensure quality, efficiency, and safety targets are met
- Train, coach, and develop team members to maximize performance and maintain high standards
- Coordinate staffing levels and production schedules to meet customer demand
- Investigate defects in lamination or production and implement effective corrective actions
- Collaborate with other departments to maintain seamless production flow
- Continuously improve processes by eliminating waste and enhancing productivity
- Ensure proper understanding of work orders, part numbers, and production requirements
- Participate in and lead safety and training initiatives across the department
- Support new product introductions in partnership with engineering and operations
Requirements:
- 5+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturing environments
- Background in fiberglass, lamination, or marine manufacturing is required
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Experience working in a fast-paced, changing environment
