Responsibilities:

• This role requires upwards of 75% daily travel to various job sites
• Install, maintain, and repair industrial equipment at customer sites, including various Electrical Control Systems (PLC, VFD, SCADA, etc.)
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues, performing necessary repairs
• Respond to customer service calls, providing technical support over the phone or on-site
• Train customers on the use and maintenance of equipment
• Provide input to improve production and performance

Requirements:

• 2-5 years of industrial automation installation experience
• Strong knowledge of Allen-Bradley and Siemens PLC controllers and HMIs
• Proficient installing, commissioning, and maintaining industrial control systems
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and logics
• Must have working knowledge of UL508A and NEC codes
• Knowledge of various SCADA software such as Ignition, FactoryTalk View, etc.
• Familiarity with DCS systems like FactoryTalk View, ControlLogix, etc.
• Experience with motion control systems and troubleshooting field wiring
• Experience with Python for scripting and automation
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and tools
• Must be a team player, self-motivated, and able to work without being micro-managed
