Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate laser cutting machines based on engineering programs and work orders
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and travelers to ensure accurate production
• Make program adjustments as needed to improve efficiency while maintaining quality standards
• Run initial sample parts and coordinate inspections for first-piece approval
• Monitor production runs and make necessary machine adjustments
• Perform in-process quality checks using measuring tools and document results as required
• Deburr and clean finished parts to meet quality expectations
• Complete routine machine maintenance and upkeep
• Accurately complete production records and documentation
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required
• 1–3 years of experience in laser operation, fabrication, or similar manufacturing environment
• Ability to read and interpret detailed blueprints and technical drawings
• Experience using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and tape measures
• Basic math skills and strong attention to detail
• Comfortable using computers for basic data entry and production tracking
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions effectively
