Accentuate Staffing is assisting a Biorepository company in the Cary area recruit a Biorepository Laboratory Assistant to join their team. This is a direct hire opportunity, working Monday-Friday 7am-4pm with required overtime on nights and weekends as necessary.
Responsibilities:
- Biorepository Laboratory Assistant will assist Laboratory Technicians with various duties throughout the facility
- Assistant will receive, organize, inventory and label incoming supplies
- Assistant will perform general maintenance around the facility, including changing filters, cleaning equipment, disposal of trash and debris, etc.
- Assistant will ensure company vehicles are serviced regularly
- Technician will be required to follow all SOPs, and regulations pertaining to the repository to include HIPAA regulations and client confidentiality
Requirements:
- Candidate must have a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years similar laboratory experience preferred
- Previous knowledge of Good Laboratory Practice’s a plus
- Strong attention to detail required!
- Candidates must be comfortable working in varying temperatures, and around dry ice
- Must be have a valid North Carolina Driver’s License
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
