Accentuate Staffing is assisting an established manufacturing client of ours in the Apex area recruit for a Production Planner. This is a 1st shift, contract opportunity working at least 4 months, with the possibility to be hired on perm depending on performance.
Responsibilities:
- Production Planner will be responsible for reviewing and releasing work orders generated by MRP systems
- Planner will schedule orders based on shop floor demands and capacity
- Planner will work with Sales to communicate lead times
- Planner will identify and develop plans to correct part shortages and meet customer expectations
- Planner will stay abreast on new and upcoming product demands as well as changes to existing designs
Requirements:
- Candidate must have 3 years Planning or Purchasing experience within a manufacturing environment
- Candidate must have strong knowledge of using an ERP System
- Candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree
- Will be required to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
- Candidate must have proof of vaccination
