Accentuate Staffing is assisting a steel manufacturer in the Durham area recruit for a Production Operator to join their team. This is a first shift, contract to hire opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating production equipment
- Candidate will perform basic troubleshooting functions on machinery
- Candidate will assist with performing quality inspections on finished products
Requirements:
- Candidate must have previous machine operation background
- Experience using computer operated machinery and cutting equipment preferred
- Must be comfortable using various measurement devices to include calipers, micrometers, and protractors
- Must be able to lift 50+lbs
- Candidate will be required to pass a criminal background check and drug test
- High school diploma/GED equivalent required
