Accentuate Staffing is seeking a Project Analyst for an exciting opportunity. As a Project Analyst I, you’ll have the opportunity to use your leadership talent to participate in the project planning (initiation) process and business case development. You will also plan, lead, test and execute small corporate projects and enhancements. You’ll use your communication talent and writing skills to interface with various organizational leaders, help them transform their business unit objectives into fully formed Initiatives, and play an integral role in developing requirements through collaboration with project managers and business unit project leads. Using your detail orientation and analytical talent, you’ll scope the project and recommend the best channel for execution.
Responsibilities:
- Analyzing and documenting Project Data
- Assisting, developing requirements and requests, and planning in support of the organization’s overall Corporate Projects.
- Creating useful reporting by obtaining pertinent data from all relevant sources, compiling, and cleaning this information, and then analyzing the data and presenting it in the most useful formats.
- Designing and developing reporting tools for use across the organization.
- Translating and simplifying customer requirements and then acting as the liaison for customers in analysis, design, and testing to ensure optimal operational performance.
- Collecting data and reporting on insights obtained, which might be utilized to inform business strategies and decisions.
- Identifying needs and requirements, researching functionality, and assisting with the creation and scoring of the RFP process where required
- Interfacing with the Project Office, IT Management, Finance, and other key stakeholders to perform resource and requirement plans.
- Consulting with IT Managers, Systems Analysts, Developers and Network/Security Specialists on use cases, potential for custom programming, security risks, and capacity planning to support project requests. Proactively defining technology scope in the planning process for projects so that impact can be adequately evaluated in the project approval process.
- Organizing, scheduling, and facilitating research meetings and information gathering with all levels of the organization.
- Assisting with testing of Project Management software and other related tools as needed.
- Creating the project plan, coordinating resources, managing timelines, and enforcing project deadline and schedules.
- Proactively alerting project stakeholders of events that may jeopardize project timelines and/or deliverables.
Requirements:
- Minimum two years’ experience working on corporate projects, with an understanding of project management practices.
- Minimum one year of Systems, Business Analyst, or IT experience.
- Minimum of one year financial institution experience.
- Experience gathering requirements from business units and creating either requirements or business case documentation, or relevant/equal work experience.
- Experience with relational database systems such as Microsoft SQL preferred
- Project Management experience preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft Visio, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Experience with ServiceNow and or Jack Henry Systems a plus.
- Related bachelor’s or graduate degree preferred.
