Accentuate Staffing is seeking a Logistics Coordinator with a medical sciences company located in Cary, NC. The Logistics Coordinator will deliver the highest quality service in the industry by managing operational tasks and complying with relevant industry regulations, customer requirements, and company targets. A successful Logistics Coordinator will ensure the highest levels of customer service, accuracy, quality, and satisfaction for top clients. We are seeking candidates wanting an opportunity to use their strong communication skills, both written and spoken, along with a dedicated desire to succeed long term in an international organization. This is a direct hire onsite position with great benefits and annual company bonus.
Responsibilities:
• Build positive working relationships with internal stakeholders and work pro-actively with other teams in all global locations to deliver excellent customer service
• Communicate clearly to internal teams and customers to keep both concurrently up to date with accurate and detailed information for each shipment
• Coordinate completion of all active shipment and packaging placement monitoring tasks at identified key milestones
• Proactively monitor real time shipment data and status alerts
• Escalate and redirect shipments where required in order to maintain required delivery schedules
• Provide notification to clients in real time on milestone updates and to alert of any issues
• Ensure ongoing issues, actions and escalations are effectively handed over to the following shift
• Work closely with third party offices and suppliers to arrange and coordinate shipment solutions
• Ensure that the company’s service remains accessible and easy to use by the client and other stakeholders
Requirements:
- Experience managing client & supplier relationships, creating positive working relationships and a high level of trust
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
- Logistics or freight forwarding experience, preferably in cold chain, time-sensitive, or pharmaceutical setting is a plus, but not required
- Science, pharma or health sciences background or education is a plus, but not required
- Bachelor’s Degree in recognized business or science program
- Highly customer-oriented – people-centric and enjoys problem solving for others
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills – both written and spoken
- Highly adaptable, with a “can do” attitude – proactive and positive in the face of change
- Adept multi-tasking ability enjoying running with multitude of responsibilities in a rapidly changing space
- Confident to make decisions with minimal supervision
