Accentuate Staffing is assisting an environmental engineering firm, who is hiring an Environmental Technician. This is a direct hire position working 8am-5pm Monday-Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Technician will take soil, water, and air samples for processing and evaluation
- Technician will use field equipment and document findings
- Technician will assist with groundwater remediation and managing erosion control and stormwater measures
- Technician will assist with writing reports of findings and site activities
Requirements:
- This position will require candidates are willing to travel all over NC & VA, 10% overnight travel required.
- Technician must be proficient using Microsoft Office and related software
- Technician should have strong attention to detail, be self-motivated, work well in a team setting, and have strong time management skills
- Must have a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and be able to pass a drug test and background check
- Associates/bachelor’s degree in engineering, environmental science or related field required
