Accentuate Staffing is assisting a leading Security company in the Raleigh area who is looking for a Service Technician II to join their team. This is a direct hire opportunity working Monday-Friday with some on call and overtime.
Responsibilities:
- Service Technician II will perform repairs, service, inspection, and programming of basic to high complexity security systems
- Technician will perform routine scheduled system inspections, preventative maintenance, general maintenance and repairs
- Technician will follow proper schematic wiring diagrams and termination procedures
- Technician will test operation of system to confirm compliance to original scope of work
- Technician will mark up as-built drawings, system documentation and device schedules to keep internal documentation current with changes
- Technician will assist PMs and Installation Technicians with IT coordination and implementation and system commissioning
Requirements:
- Technician must have 5 plus years industry related experience
- Candidates must have a good driving record and valid NCDL
- Candidates must be proficient with field test equipment, multimeters, cable testers, fiber kit, etc.
- Candidates must have a strong knowledge of installation methods, troubleshooting methods, etc.
- Candidates must have a strong knowledge of basic network troubleshooting, electronic security technology, and system design
- Candidates must be computer savvy; Netsuite, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office Suite a plus
- Candidates must meet State qualifications alarm licensing and electronics security personnel as required.
