Accentuate Staffing is assisting an established manufacturer in the Durham area recruit for a Facilities Technician to join their team. This is a temp to hire opportunity working on 1st shift (6am-6pm).
Responsibilities:
- Technician will be responsible for all preventative and corrective maintenance on facilities’ equipment
- Technician will be responsible for servicing HVAC units, DI water systems, electrical equipment, etc.
- Technician will be responsible for responding to any building alarms as well as utility system issues
- Technician will work directly with outside service vendors as necessary
Requirements:
- Candidate must have 3+ years hands-on facilities maintenance experience
- Candidate must have strong HVAC and electrical knowledge
- Associate’s degree in a technical field strongly preferred
- Candidate must have strong knowledge of MS Office, including Excel
- Candidate must be familiar with chemical safety requirements
