Accentuate Staffing is assisting a large biotech company in the Durham area recruit for a Biomanufacturing Associate to join their team. This is a contract opportunity working on 1st shift (8:30am-5pm) Monday-Friday, with some required overtime as necessary.
Responsibilities:
- Follow cGMPs and OSHA standards to perform daily manufacturing operations
- Follow production schedules and process orders to prepare samples, solutions and assemblies
- Perform incoming inspections on primary tissues
- Assist with decellularization-related processes
- Follow SOPs to assist with cleaning and maintaining equipment as well as performing any necessary troubleshooting and/or preventative maintenance
- Adhere to good documentation processes
- Sanitize clean room as necessary
Requirements:
- Candidate must have previous biomanufacturing experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Biosciences strongly preferred
- Candidate must have strong understanding of GMPs, from prior work or previous schooling
- Candidate must have previous experience with good documentation practices on Master Batch Records, Electronic Batch Records, and logbooks
- Candidate must be a results driven, fast learner
- Will be required to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
