Accentuate Staffing is working with a large Healthcare client in Raleigh is seeking an  HR Generalist to join their busy team. This is a long term contract position that will be remote for 6-12 months in duration. It is required that you must live in North Carolina to qualify for this position. The HR Generalist is responsible for performing human resources related duties on a professional level. The HR Generalist carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: policy implementation, employment law compliance, ADA, and Title VII  under the direction of the HR Manager. The Human Resources Generalist provides administrative support to human resources functions as needed (e.g. generates correspondence, record-keeping, policy development).

Responsibilities:

  • Administers various human resource plans and procedures for all company personnel; assists in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures
  • Participates in developing department goals, objectives and systems.
  • Administers the developing compliance program as it relates to company wide vaccine mandate
  • Participates in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars.
  • Maintains company organization charts and the employee directory.
  • Recommends new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of the department and services performed.
  • Responsible for Headcount reporting on a weekly basis
  • Maintains human resource information system records and compiles reports from the database.
  • Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment
  • Liaise with other departments or functions (payroll, etc.)
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

Requirements:

  • Must be detailed oriented
  • 4-6 years of progressive experience in Human Resources.
  • Microsoft Office Knowledge, strong Excel skills
  • Experience with HR databases and HRIS systems (e.g., ADP)
  • Ability to handle data with confidentiality
  • Considerable knowledge of principles and practices of personnel administration.
  • Strong interpersonal skills both oral and written.
  • Strong understanding of state and federal requirements and regulations.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources preferred or BS/BA in Business Administration or relevant field/additional education in Human Resource Management
  • Must live in North Carolina
