Accentuate Staffing is working with a Global Biotech company in RTP who is seeking a Contracts Analyst to join their team. This is a 6 month to 1 year contract position.
The Ideal candidate should enjoy drafting, editing, and tracking contracts, demonstrating excellent attention to detail abilities. This will include partnering with multiple functional groups to ensure all deliverables are met in a timely and accurate manner.
Responsibilities:
- Manages assigned contract management processes, including but not limited to the coordination and finalization of the Customer contractual instrument including the project specifications and budget.
- Communicates and explains legal and budgetary issues to internal and external parties per department guidelines.
- Evaluates and reviews Customer requested contract changes and based upon department guidelines;
- Escalates deviations to department leadership and/or the Legal Department.
- Serves as communication liaison between Contracts staff and internal and external Customers. Provides functional guidance and keeps Contracts team aware of all contract statuses or pending issues.
- Prepares correspondence as necessary.
- Evaluates contracts for completeness and accuracy by comparing to department guidelines to determine adherence, and ensures that corrections are appropriately made and documented.
- Initiates and participates in face-to-face or teleconference Customer meetings for the purpose of expediting the contract signing process, as directed or independently determined as an appropriate course of action.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field preferred; including 3-5 years of relevant work experience preferred. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Requires a high level of reading, comprehension and dissemination of information.
- Experience with contract management, governance and legal administration.
- Strong organizational skills, the ability to maintain detailed records and great attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet short deadlines.
- Must have advanced MS Office skills to include Excel for data tracking
