Accentuate Staffing is assisting a leading manufacturer in the Oxford, NC area who is looking for a Maintenance Technician to maintain their machinery and facilities. This is a direct hire opportunity working 1st shift.
Responsibilities:
- Maintenance Technician will perform mechanical preventative and breakdown maintenance of facilities and production equipment
- Technician will maintain hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems and components
- Technician will maintain pumps, motors, gearboxes, cylinders, belts, chains, bearings, sprockets, etc.
- Technician will install, start up, and shut down equipment
Requirements:
- Candidates must have an associates degree with 2 years maintenance experience OR a high school diploma and 5 plus years maintenance background
- Candidates must be proficient using hand tools, power tools, shop tools
- Candidates must be able to operate production machinery and forklifts
- Candidates must be able to lift 50 lbs routinely
