Accentuate Staffing is currently seeking a Collections Representative to join the team with a large credit union in the Raleigh area. The ideal candidate will have a flexible schedule and be able to work evenings and weekends. This is a temp to hire opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Place and receive incoming and outgoing phone calls for members
- Assist and explain re-payment plans for past due and negative accounts
- Maintaining accurate collection history logs on all communication with our members, reviewing assignments, and ensuring member accounts are properly handled and notated.
- Identify, investigate, and resolve delinquent and negative account activity
- Maintain thorough understanding of branch regulations and policies for members
- Research account transactions and ensure all payments are properly credited
- Prepare and document all account information
- Answer all member questions and research information for branches
Requirements:
- One year of previous call center or collections experience
- High school diploma required
- Flexibility to include evening hours up until 9pm and possible weekend days
- Excellent communication skill set to interact with members
- Highly organized
