Accentuate Staffing is assisting a tooling manufacturer in Durham who is looking for a Radiation Safety Assistant. This is a contract-hire opportunity working 1st shift Monday-Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Safety Assistant will assist the Radiation Safety Officer and will provide technical support in implementing and monitoring compliance with the corporate radiation monitoring and protection program
- Safety Assistant will calibrate leak test equipment and perform leak tests
- Safety Assistant will perform routine and non routine radiation and contamination surveys and assist in radioactive removal
- Safety Assistant will assist customers
Requirements:
- Candidates must have 4+ years administrative background
- Experience in a medical or compliance oriented environment a plus
- Candidates must be computer savvy with Microsoft Office
- Candidates must have a high school diploma
