Accentuate Staffing is assisting a global parts distributor with their need for an Aftermarket Parts and Service Manager.  This is a permanent opportunity with our client in Garner, NC. This position has a generous base salary plus bonus, benefits, 401k, PTO and holidays.

Responsibilities:

  • Effectively manage the aftermarket sales by prioritizing, scheduling and delegating work assignments to ensure completion of all work and projects.  Oversees the Service office to ensure customer satisfaction through customer machinery/equipment support.  Reports to the General Manager.
  • Continues to improve sales and service internal and external programs/procedures e.g. follow-up of parts quotations, format/presentation of quote materials, program for centralized/program for Preferred Service and Maintenance Contracts, customer follow-up regarding service support, lists of recommended spare parts required to support the continued operation of a machine, etc.
  • Responsible for developing and overseeing the implementation of Parts and Service marketing and sales objectives, policies, and programs. Plans, directs and coordinates the Parts/Service sales and marketing efforts of the company which involves parts/service accurate pricing, quick/convenient/trackable quoting, distribution, advertising plans, forecast sales goals, market analyses/research, etc.
  • Develop an annual strategic Parts/Service sales and marketing plan.
  • Develop positive relationships with customers in order to effectively analyze customer requirements and promote company parts/service products to meet those requirements.
  • Interface and act as a technical resource with internal company departments e.g. manufacturing, accounting, human resources, parts, purchasing, engineering, etc., to address and resolve inquiries and problems.
  • Educate, teach and provide training and/or resources to each Part Sales employee(s), when needed, to maintain the required level of department expertise.
  • Develop capital/operating budgets and manning requirements for Parts/Service sales departments. Control expenses within budget constraints. Develop short- and long-range goals and objectives for the Parts/Service departments that effectively support the overall goals and objectives of the company.
  • Responsibilities include training employees, planning, assigning, and directing work; evaluating job performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Requirements:

  • 3 years’ experience in the aftermarket service/parts industry.
  • Analysis skills with ability to execute strategy based on results of analysis.
  • Carries out management responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
  • Ability to manage a CRM system to ensure that sales data and customer data is tracked.
  • 15% Travel is associated with this role
