 Accentuate Staffing is assisting a Global client in the Cary/Apex area who is seeking an Engineering Change Coordinator to join their growing team.   This is a Direct Hire opportunity with a fantastic company!

Responsibilities:

  • Will coordinate all activities required for seamless change implementation of product & process design changes
  • Will coordinate with Engineering, Planning, Production, Purchasing, and Quality to establish and maintain change effectivity dates to ensure configuration control and uninterrupted supply chain flow
  • Responsible for initiation, maintenance, and execution of product design changes
  • Facilitate weekly Change Review Board Meetings (Group determines and confirms feasibility, accuracy of new Change Requests)
  • Determine appropriate collaborators based upon change content. This includes interfacing with all departments to determine impact and actions necessary to implement the change and ensure all relevant documentation is submitted
  • Gather needed documents to process change request (customer drawings, CAD data, markups)
  • Provide status notification to impacted individuals/functions relating to changes.
  • Coordinate execution of all action items / tasks required to effectively implement changes
  • Ensure accuracy of product release documents for completeness, proper authorization, and system updates prior to implementation
  • Analyze and track change submissions to minimize processing time between submission and implementation

Requirements:

  • Ability to speak effectively with other functional areas in the Company
  • Excellent organizational skills and time management
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be flexible.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong administrative skills related to documentation and record keeping.
  • Effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Versatile, flexible, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities
  • Self-motivated with the ability to stay on task
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Associates degree in an engineering discipline
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a change / project management role in a manufacturing environment.
  • PMP Certification a plus
