Responsibilities:

• Responsible for expressing the brand voice of the company across all external communications. This includes but is not limited to brand marketing, search results pages, email marketing and internal communication to including newsletters and corporate communications.
• Responsible for brainstorming, creating, and transforming conceptual ideas into words for product descriptions, articles, scripts, publications, blogs, website content, flyers, brochures and other projects as needed
• Will be the guidepost for brand communications written by others such as press releases, social media posts and scripts for customer service.

Requirements:

• Two years of experience as a copywriter/content writer
• Experience in B2C marketing; B2B marketing experience as well is a plus
• College Degree in Communications or Marketing preferred
• Public relations and/or advertising agency experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
• Familiarity with commonly used style guides
• Bachelor degree in journalism, communications, marketing or related field
• 2-3 years’ experience writing for a brand. Ideally, you’ve written branded content across a multitude of mediums
• Editorial experience in copywriting, editorial, proofreading, blogging and publishing is a plus
• Proven ability to understand complex information and translate it into effective copy
• Ability to learn and operate digital CMS software
• Experience leading a team of junior copywriters; or excited about the opportunity to do so
