Accentuate Staffing is currently recruiting for a Senior Financial Analyst to join an established Global manufacturing company in the Cary area. This position performs critical cost accounting, cost analysis, reporting, problem solving and decision support for a multi-plant environment. In this capacity, the position performs a significant coordination role in its daily interface with Plant Controllers.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate total region cost accounting processes supporting monthly / annual close including inventory and sales reconciliations, FIFO, quality claim reserves, customer discounts, raw materials / PPV analyses, plant waste and performance reviews and overall control to plan.
• Perform monthly and other period performance analyses, regional performance reporting, and data management for global consolidation.
• Responsible for collecting data in support of the product quoting process.
• Assist and lead projects to identify, define and implement improvements to product and process costing procedures with financial, IT and operations management personnel.
• Lead and perform major segments of development of annual operating plans / budgets, forecasts and other periodic business modeling projects.
• Lead rigorous business case modeling in evaluating manufacturing performance improvement plans (MIP’s), capital project justifications, capital completion audits, etc.
• Collaborates with other members of the finance and operations organizations and their scope of duties to support and continuously improve business support functions.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required. MBA and/or CPA preferred.
• Minimum 8-10 years of experience in cost accounting, general accounting, operations and business analysis with experience problem solving in complex industrial process manufacturing environments.
• Advanced analytical skills and proficiency in Excel, Access and other reporting and analytical software required.
• Experience working with ERP systems (SAP, Hyperion, Oracle, etc.) preferred.
