Accentuate Staffing is currently recruiting for a Medical Billing / Insurance Specialist to join a local company in the Raleigh area.

Responsibilities:

-Respond in a timely manner to insurance and collections questions
-Review EOB’s and follow up on flagged EOB’s, submit insurance claims
-Communicate with patients regarding account inquiries and resolve accordingly if related to insurance.
-Follow up with Insurance companies on all denials, claims and reimbursements
-Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy
-Maintain accurate and complete information relating to billing activities, patients, and carrier contacts.

Requirements:

-At least one year experience in medical billing and medical insurance
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Strong data entry skills
-Knowledge of ICD-9 and CPT codes
