Accentuate Staffing is currently recruiting for a Patient Services Supervisor to join a pharmaceutical company in the Cary area. This position is responsible for managing the comprehensive patient and provider services for a specific programs which includes: verifying patient eligibility, coordinating benefits, and determining patient coverage/responsibility for services, initiation and resolution of insurance authorization barriers and appeal processes.
Must be able to work Monday-Friday between 12pm-9pm. This is a direct-hire opportunity for the right candidate.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree and 2-4 years of experience is required
• Must have progressive experience as a team lead or management experience within a healthcare environment
• Experience working and understanding patient’s clinical, financial and emotional needs particularly related to benefit investigation, prior authorization and appeal resolution
• Knowledge of healthcare terminology and insurance experience within a healthcare environment
• Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize and work under pressure
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications
• Entrepreneurial approach to bring new ideas to our service and solutions
• Flexible, adaptable, conscientious and detail oriented
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The primary role of the Patient Services Manager will:
• Develop and maintain a teams with a passion for customer service, patient experience and ongoing quality improvement.
• Provide oversight and ongoing management for the insurance prior authorization and appeal functions.
• Promote ongoing staff training and development.
