Accentuate Staffing is currently recruiting for a Assistant Project Manager to join a well-known advertisement agency in the Raleigh area. This position is a client facing role responsible for internal management of each project from planning to deliverable and is the hub for any project related information between account, creative, editorial, media, scientific, and technical departments.
This is a 3-6 month contract position.

Responsibilities:

• Opens jobs within the project and time management system
• Creates e–folder and physical job jacket for each project
• Develop project schedules with account services team, using input from the writer, editor, and creative services
• Assists the PM and teams in enforcement of each of the workflow processes to ensure efficiency and productivity on all projects, as well as adherence to preset schedules
• Maintain chronological archive of each project
• Regularly communicate with the project team to ensure all departments are apprised of job status and handoffs
• Trouble shoot issues, resolve questions and oversee day-to-day activities of team’s projects
• Maintain and update daily/weekly project status report;
• Schedule work-in-progress meetings
• Perform general and administrative work as required, ie. making and routing screen captures and job jackets
• Communicate production schedules to vendors and suppliers
• Regularly reviews project budgets and identifies pending scheduling conflicts or cost overruns

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in the health sciences, marketing or communications field
• 1- 2 years of Project Management experience preferable in an ad agency environment
• Demonstrated traffic coordination and management experience a plus
• Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint a must; project management software (eg, Webvantage) knowledge a plus
• Broad knowledge of business practices, beyond the traditional knowledge of processes involved in ad agency communications
• Basic knowledge of digital projects and development processes, including but not limited to websites, HTML e-mails, iPad applications, and interactive media
• Willing to work extra hours to meet impending deadlines
