Accentuate Staffing is currently recruiting a Staff Accountant for a client of ours in Cary, NC.

Responsibilities

• Enter financial data manually and utilize integration manager
• Complete month-end closing procedures, to include: expense accruals and prepaid expenses
• Perform AP functions, to include: entering invoices and processing checks
• Perform monthly account reconciliations
• Audit travel expense reports and oversee company’s travel policy
• Maintain company’s Accounting and Administrative systems, to include: computer software systems and manual filing systems
• Assist in the documentation of Accounting Processes and Procedures
• Evaluate Accounting Control Procedures

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
• 3-5 years of Accounting experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of Financial/Accounting software applications; Great Plains is a plus
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills, as well as, a high attention to detail
